OUR BACKGROUND
Delta Zeta is currently one of the largest sororities in the United States. With over 260,000 sisters with shared values living across the globe, Delta Zeta has touched the lives of many. This was all made possible when six young women at Miami University had a vision to come together and form a social sorority on their male-dominated campus. This vision turned into reality when Delta Zeta was founded on October 24, 1902. As the sorority grew throughout the years, it finally made it's way to Northwood University when the Xi Eta Chapter was founded on March 24, 1984. We proudly follow in the footsteps of our sisters that came before us by continuing to share the values that they put in place so long ago.

FRIENDSHIP
When joining Delta Zeta, you are entering a lifelong bond that you will carry with you for the rest of your life! The relationships that you will form through Delta Zeta are unlike any other. As a Delta Zeta, you will make amazing memories throughout the next four years with your sisters by your side. Not only will you gain the friendship of your sisters at Northwood, but also of the 260,000+ sisters across the globe. Delta Zetas stick by each others side through thick and thin. We vow to nurture our friendships with our sisters through understanding, appreciation, and love.
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
When joining Delta Zeta, you will be encouraged to be the best possible version of yourself! As a chapter, we encourage each individual to better themselves by holding our members to high standards of leadership, academics, and morale. We offer 20 different leadership positions that range from our Executive Board to Chair Positions that allow each of our members to gain valuable leadership experience. We also hold our members to a high academic standard. Through sister study hours and encouraging one another, our chapter has earned a cumulative GPA of 3.14! By joining Delta Zeta-Xi Eta, you are bound to feel empowered amongst your sisters and grow into the best version of yourself.
NETWORKING
When joining Delta Zeta, you will be introduced to a lifetime of networking opportunities. Many of our alumni have gone on to be extremely successful in their careers. Since Delta Zeta has such a strong sisterhood, our fellow sisters are always more than willing to reach out a helping hand to our members. Not only will Delta Zeta connect you with other sisters, but with fellow individuals in Greek Life that work in a multitude of industries. Making the choice to join Delta Zeta will allow you to network with other sisters and members of different sororities and fraternities for the rest of your life.
